 Temporary tablespace VS Temporary datafile question [message #209218] |

Hi, a request for facts here;
On a data warehouse DB (Oracle 10.2.0.1.0), why is it that the tablespace can show that the temporary tablespaces are 100% empty (Administration Tab, Storage region, Tablepspaces link), but then within (Administration Tab, Storage region, Datafiles link) the Temporary tablespace datafiles show 100% used)? IS it a problem that the tablespace, while empty, has datafiles that show up to be full?
It seems a conundrum to me at the moment.
