Hi,
My requirement is to load data into oracle from excel file(.xls).
I cannot use the external table option and sqlloader as the file is in .xls format and due to some restriction, will not be converted into .csv(it will be uploaded by users and users are not willing to change the file from .xls to .csv format).

Can anyone let me know about some other strategy to load excel data into oracle tables?

i am using 9i.

regards

Can be done through Oracle Heterogeneous Services or using any programming language supporting ODBC.
