HP-UX B11.11
Oracle 9.2.0.7
Java Version: 1.3.1

XML File: 2MB-3MB.

When Load xml file about 2-3MB, about only 30% prompt Ora-29532:java.lang.OutOfMemory.

Is this a bug of Oracle or the bug of Java?

Server with 4 CPU, 32GB RAM
Java_pool_size 700MB.

I ever monitor the v$sgastat, about 680MB free memory in Java Pool.

Thanks a lot for your reply.

Thanks for Anacedent.

But for the smaller one, like 1MB, it is ok.

Thanks,

So what?
Data dependent bugs exist way too frequently.
It is kind of like defining a field as
STORE_ID NUMBER(2)

SET STORE_ID = 99
works OK
SET STORE_ID = 100
generates an error.
