Hi,

Can i spool datetime in spool files if yes pls give me a sample spool file here.

Strange....you have questions about perfromance issues ect in other threads, and you cant spool the date into a file ??

Dont exactly understand what you mean by datetime?

SQL> spool myfile
SQL> SELECT TO_CHAR(SYSDATE , 'Dy DD-Mon-YYYY HH24:MI:SS') as "DateTime" from dual;
SQL> spool off

Oops Sry it wasnt me it was one of my colleagues.Newly joined i asked him the question how and hola he posted here to get the answer.sry for the trouble @tah.

he knows my username and password i have given him incase of emergency help.this is the best place that's why...
