i am getting this error

"The oracle(tm) client and networking components were not

and are part of the oracle version 7.

you will be unable to use this driver untile these components
have been installed"

It is a bit weird for sure but I have faced this many times. And never actually managed to re-solve it.

What OS you using? And whats the version of your ODBC?

I just do a minimum installation of the Oracle client, and use the 'Microsoft ODBC for Oracle' after that.
