Hi,
can you help me on this!
Apache webserver creates a access log file which is in a txt format(raw data).I want to find out particular field(i.e. username, date) for creating reports.
Can you help me know how to query the txt file, create a report.

Or otherwise how to convert it in a table format and insert it in a oracle database.

If you can distinguish the fields in the log, you can use it as an external table.
That would mean you can select from it as if it were a table.

No! I cannot able to distinguish the fields in the accesslog.txt file as it is a raw data also it is very big file and continuously updating as users acessing the application.
