Hi All

I wrote a batch file which will connect the ftp site and pick up the file when i directly run the batch file.

If i try to use run_dos to execute the bathc file, i cant get the ftp file.
how should i use run_dos procedure in plsql and execute this batch file and get the ftp file.

How should to get wether it is connected to ftp site or not.

Please let me know if there is any other way to get the ftp file through the plsql procedure.

Help me to solve this problem

Thanks and Regards

What would this RUN_DOS thing be then?
I'm guessing that it's a little Java procedure that someone at your place has written to execute arbitrary OS commands from Oracle.

Is there a reason you can't use a Pl/Sql FTP solution?
