help-Formating capital and small letters in feilds [message #205878]

Hi all,

I want to format the letters of the feilds to make it only accept capital letters and another feild that the first letter is in capital and the rest are in small letters

anyone knows about about it??
Please need your help quickly only 3 hours is left and I have to do it

Have a look at http://www.orafaq.com/forum/m/173919/67467/?srch=rtrim#msg_173919 Obviously you will NOT use the 'upper' function. Use 'substr' to handle the first and other letters differently. Remember to have code to handle zero length fields and one byte fields, as well as longer fields.
