If Anybody can help me .

Oracle9i/Solaris

I joined a company as a DBA and I got a doc from which i am supposed to do some administration thro EM .
OMS has been configured on a separate DB and sysman passwrd is also given to me.
But whenever I try to login thro management server it says login incorrect . Probably the sysman passwrd was changed but wasn't documented.

Can anybody please help me in this regard.

Thanks

You can logon to the database with OS authentication as sysdba and then change the sysman password

alter user sysman identifed by <new_password>

Something like this can work Wink

I don't think ie possible as bcuz i am logging into network resources as an administrator being serviced by management server and not into db as db user.

you don't have access directly to the database?
