Asslam o alaikum brothers and sisters,
I am new to Oracle Forms
I have create a small application that i am calling from BusinessObjects XI R2 when i call the form it ask for the database username and password and sid. I want to skip this oracle login screen which appears by default please help me out
my business users will kill me if they have to enter this information few days more.

i am suggesting a solution it might help step are :

1) Right Click at the Application icon.

2) Click on the properties

3) At target text item full path of Oracle comes

4) At the end of the line write username/password@sid

Tell me what happens ...

Thanks a lot for a very good advice
I have done as per your advice but it is still asking for the password. Previously it was asking for username,password and SID
but now username and SID appear by default but still have to enter the password.I hope you can solve it out

I believe that you have stored the wrong text in the password field. Remember that there are no spaces between the username, the slash, the password, the 'at' sign, and the SID.

I have changed but to no avail................ Smile

I'll not bother you anymore its fine like this also all they have to enter is the password but i'll try to remove it and inshaAllah will share with you

OH............. It started working I did not change anything
here is the path
form=OM_APPS_MAIN.fmx&userid=om/om@uscedw as per the previous one. What i did that i genreated the .fmx file again and it statrted working.
