Hi there

I'm trying to send a message from Oracle10g to Java via OpenJMS.
I was searching the Net for steps of how to do this, but
the more I search the more confusing it gets.

So, I'm afraid to waste my time reading a 200 pages document
and find out that this isn't what I'm looking for.

Would you have a document or know a link that provides step by step instructions of how to send a message from Oracle to Java ?

Thanks for your time.

See "Streams" and AQ.

To avoid have to get to know either, you can also consider doing your messaging externally or internally using a Java stored proc and then call that from PL/SQL (using a trigger or whatever).
