Hi,
I have created an aggregate function using Data Cartridges.
Is it possible to include the function in the Package ?
Can you give me an example if it is possible ?
I am using Oracle 9i .

Regards

I never used "Data Cartriges" (don't even know what it might be), but - unless it is a tricky Data-Cartriges-dependant question - create a package, declare function in its specification and the function itself in a package body. Reference the function using 'package_name.function_name'.

Hi,
Thanks Tahpush for your reply.
I have read those docs.
But my question is still the same.
Is there any way to include my user defined aggregate function in a Package ?

Regards

General rule: If you find yourself repeating the same question in an attempt to get an answer, it's a good bet that its your question that's the problem, not the people you're asking.

Please rephrase your question in a way that gives us more information about what you're trying to do.

Hi,
Let me elaborate on this.
My company policy says that every function/procedure should be included in a package.
Now,i have created a user defined aggregate function using ODCIAggregateInitialize etc. interfaces .
Is it possible for me to include this user defined function in a package ?
I think,i have provided enough information for all of you to understand the question ?

Thanks
