Hi Gurus,

I need to take an oracle export dump from 10g and import into oracle9i database. Both the dbs are running on Win XP

I know that to take the export from 10g i should use export utility of 9i , only then dump will be recognized in 9i .

I cannot connect 10g database from 9i database and use 9i utility.

10g installation does it have 9i exp utility also apart from its own exp utility.

Can anybody share his /her views on this.

Thanks

At the very least, you should install the 9i client and use the client's export utility to do the export from the 10g database.
