hai,
I used tool tip in oracle 10g forms to display data, when mouse enters a item in a record, tool tip should fetch the value from the item of that particular record and should display dynamically, I tried a lot using when mouse_enter trigger but it doesn't work. Can anybody tell me the way to do this?.

Search this forum for 'tooltip'. Unfortunately, it would appear that it can not be done. The tooltip displayed is the one that exists BEFORE you enter the field. I have seen people try it is 9i and it can't be done. Have you read the reference manual for 'tooltip' and 'mouse_enter'? In the 9i documentation it says "Changing a tooltip's property in a When-Mouse-Enter trigger cancels the tooltip before it is ever shown."
