Hi,

How to pass a clob/blob/long string(more than 4000 chars) data to a procedure as an input parameter from either sqlplus or toad sqleditor?

Looking for some idea.

Thanks

For clob and blob you can write a script which reads the content from a file and pass it as parameter to the procedure.

Since sqlplus can only read less than 2499 characters for a statement, u can insert data to a temporary table first with few insert statement through sqlplus, then execute store procedure to retrieve data from that temporary table.
