I have a problem connecting with my client to my Oracle 10g database...

Im using C# application. I can log in to Oracle and works fine at the begining. After a period of time, I get error 'ORA-00022 - invalid session ID; access denied' when im doing my transaction with Oracle. Then i reconnect using SQLPLUS, I get error 'ORA12545 - Connect failed because target host or obejct does not exist'. However, I can reconnect after 10 minutes. Anyone has a similar problem or idea? Thanks..

Have a look in the DBA_PROFILES view. That's where this sort of thing is set.

Do you always get this problem after a fixed preiod of time?

Have you looked in the SQLNet logs to see if there's some sort of problem getting logged there?

check ur tnsnames.ora file.
1.ping hostname.
******
2. address parameter in tnsnames.ora file
changed host name numeric.
address = ( host = 192.168.xxx.x) tcp/ip and try to connect.

hope this helps.
Mohammad Taj.
