Mahesh, thanx for the prompt response! However, I guess my explanation of the problem was not clear. The problem I'm having is not with finding the count of the number of rows in a table, but the number of columns. I can't seem to figure out how you can find the number of columns in a table using SQL.

Any thoughts, ideas?!
