Hi ,

My code is like this.Here the temp_table have some values and we need to set those values to the v_match,v_seqno(procedure variables) using cursor.but it giving me error that looping curloop is not valid.Does this code assign the column values of the table to the procedure variables?Please guide.

create procedure proce_name

declare
v_match temp_table.match%type;
v_seqno temp_table.seno%type;
------
------
cursor c1 is
select * from temp_table;
begin
for curloop in c1
loop
v_match := curloop.match;
v_seqno := curloop.seqno;
-----
------
end loop;
end;

the code is correct, but there is a syntax error you should specify is clause in place of declare clause. Hope this helps.
