Hi,
i am using Oracle 9.2.0.6.0 on linux
i am facing following problem with Oracle job.

i am taking oracle job offline using TOAD 7.4.0.3
however when i bring the job offline it immediately starts executing

Is it a problem with tool i.e. TOAD or its normal behaviour of Oracle Job?

I blv toad require explicitly commiting any action that we do from the tool .. check on the job interval and ensure that you commit the transaction once you take the job offline.
