Hello all

(First: Sorry this is a cross-post..)

Don't know where and who to ask this question..
So i'll try here Cool (not really sure if this i the correct topic either...)

This is the situation..

I got a 3rd party software which extracts data from and unknown
data source and can deliver the data through OLE DB.

I got Oracle installed on a Linux server, running the Oracle Express 10g (free-version).

Will this work?
Or do I need any OLE DB "tool" like eg. "Oracle Provider for OLE DB" installed on the Linux machine? does that even work?

I haven't been able to test it yet, and I will probably not be able to use "trial and error" with this customer.

Please help, I'm a linux-freek lost in a m$-world. Embarassed

Regards
Jocke
