When we do exchange partition in a partitioned table and the query that
accessing that table is failing by getting an error ORA-08103: object no longer exists

Yeah, it makes sense, because you're pulling the rug out from under the query. The segment that it is pulling rows from all of a sudden changes name.

I haven't noticed this before, because I never have users connected when I'm exchanging partitions. I don't know how you could go about preventing it, except to keep users out.
