What is meant by "run in TEST mode"?
How do you do that?

Ask the person who told you to run it in "test" mode.

HI

i think it means
1. you should make a separate user for testing query on your database

2. if the query is about insertion and updation then do not commit after query.

3. use the separate table like the table on which you are using the query

these and some other element make the query test mode.

We assume that someone did, because it isn't a term with any recognised and codified meaning.

It could mean 'Run it on the Test database'
It could mean 'Run it as the user TEST'
It could mean run the procedure 'DODGY_TEST_PKG.TEST_SETUP' and then run it on the live system.

If you don't know what the testing procedures are in your company, we certainly aren't going to.
