Hello,
I am actually having to do the following:
Create allocation base on information coming from a third party system
I have to check if there is enough item available by sub inventory/locator/lot and then allocate the max available and the remaining pushed into a table and waiting until more items are available.
I am inserting directly into the table mtl_material_transactions_temp and another process does the pick confirm.
Till now I did the coding without any API and wanted to know if it is worth continue or should I use APIs?
Thank you in advance.
Regards
Sheilesh

By searching the web and forum I've found these APIs:
inv_Replenish_Detail_Pub.line_details_pub
Move_Order_Line_Detail_Pub
inv_mo_line_detail_util.insert_row (API which can be used to insert into the table MTL_MATERIAL_TRANSACTIONS_TEMP)
