I have a Report Generator written in MSAccess which runs each morning. This Report Generator runs on Windows XP which is located in a secured server room at a branch location. It pulls information from a Oracle 8 DB. The client was installed as the typical setup. I wish to hardcode the user ID and password so I can run the daily update as a Scheduled Task from Windows. What is the best way to store the ID and Password.

Thanks

Not really a question about Oracle, as much as a question about Access, right?

You can probably hardcode something into VB.Net or whatever Access' scripting language are called.

Have fun!
