HI I done this query:

SQL> SELECT A.id id,B.id id,SDO_NN_DISTANCE (1) distance FROM montane A,montane
B WHERE SDO_WITHIN_DISTANCE(A.geom,B.geom,'distance=100')='TRUE' AND ( SDO_NN(A.
geom,B.geom,'sdo_num_res=1',1)='TRUE');

ERROR row 1:
ORA-13249: SDO_NN cannot be evaluated without using index
ORA-06512: a "MDSYS.MD", line 1723
ORA-06512: a "MDSYS.MDERR", line 17
ORA-06512: a "MDSYS.PRVT_IDX", line 9

BUt montane table has a spatial index Q_tree ;
HOW i can do?

ORA-13249: %s
Cause: An internal error was encountered in the extensible spatial index component. The text of the message is obtained from some other server component.
Action: Contact Oracle Support Services with the exact error text.

Can you not pass this up to your DBAs - they'll be able to contact Metalink.

Unless you're not paying for Oracle support, in which case you're in a spot of bother.
