Hi Friends,
I need to know whether there is possibility of importing only packages from an exported dump file into another database.
If yes, kindly tell how to do.

The problem is I want to retrieve the older version of the package now as we dont have the backup of the same.

Regards,
Marlon

No direct method ,
Do a full export with rows=s
Do a dummy import like this
imp user/pass show=y file=yourdumpfile log=somelog.sql

now this somelog.sql will have the ddl of all objects.
extract whatever you want.
A much simpler method is to extract DDL from dictionary of source and apply it on target.
use dbms_metadata or any gui tool to extract the ddl.
Please search forum for more examples.
