SQL> alter system set dispatchers='(PROTOCOL=TCP)(DISP=3)';
alter system set dispatchers='(PROTOCOL=TCP)(DISP=3)'
ERROR at line 1:

tnsnames.ora =
(ADDRESS = (PROTOCOL = TCP)(HOST = <hardware_ip>)(PORT = <some port, usually 1521>))
(SERVER = <Shared or DEDICATED> )
(SERVICE_NAME = <your_sid>)

(SID = PLSExtProc)

SHARED_SERVERS specifies the number of server processes that you want to create
when an instance is started. If system load decreases, then this minimum number of
servers is maintained. Therefore, you should take care not to set SHARED_SERVERS
too high at system startup.

Use the log_archive_dest, log_archive_max_processes, log_archive_min_succeed_dest parameters in the init.ora file

lsnrctl reload
