Hi

How can I Re-index all the tables in my database. I m using oracle 10g.

I do not know why should you do it, but firstly you have to create script and run it ;

SPOOL rebuild_indexes.sql
SELECT 'alter index ' || owner || '.' || index_name  || ' rebuild;' FROM DBA_indexes;
SPOOL OFF
@rebuild_indexes.sql

I wanted to improve the performance of the database. So i wanted to reindex the tables.

Will reindex improve the performance ?

In general, no. Rebuilding the indexes will not improve performance.
