Hi!


I'm trying to run a report from form, but it gives me this messages FRM-41213 unable to connecto to report server, while report server is running and it status is prepared. I haven't change the configuration. It was working right still yesterday.
I don't know what to do. I'm looking for all the configurations and everything is right....

Is this happening for all reports, or just the one that you have renamed?

hi
in forms 10g you have to start the instance manually
it will display at the menu for starting and stoping for anything more you want go to help there you can find the host addresses copy and paste it on the internet explore then you can absorve what is the prob

Hi!

I'm not rename any report. I have month working rigth but suddenly it stat to give me that error....

Okay. The obvious question is what have you changed? You have indicated that you feel that you have changed nothing except your report. Okay.

Do you have a backup copy of your report?
Can you get the backup or any other report to run?
Have you tried rebooting your PC?

Have you generated your report to a '.rep' file? If so, I suggest deleting it. Does the Report Builder have a 'Compile All' option? Then use that and see what happens?

Hi!!!

Okay. I had a backup and I replace the reports and nothing. I can't run any report. I have like 100 reports. I have tried rebooting my pc and nothing.

I have generated my report to a '.rep' file and I compiled all then with all options that report builder has. And nothing....

I'm starting and Stopping the OCJ4.

Okay ... delete all the '.rep' files, they are a pain and make report change testing problematic.

Have you moved your reports to a new directory? If so, then you need to change the name of the 'path' thingy that you defined initially.

Did you add a new directory to this 'path' thingy and have not got around to putting any files in it? Do you have a space in your directory name or report name? Either of these last actions will cause the report not to be found.
