hello
i'm giving a presentation on performance tuning using sql statements. What are the topics i need to cover.
I've included topics like
indexes, hinnts, explain plan, tkprof, optimiser.
please help

As I know TUNING is not an exact science. Tuning is a process of trail and error. You should use the tools like explain plan to assist you in this process, and try things like changing the order of the tables in the from clause during your tuning process.
