Hello Sir ,

i have some problem in schemas . actualy my schema name looks like "CCCC_CCC_N_N_CCC_PRXY" where 'c' stands for a char and 'n' stands for number . i want to know if there is any constraints for schema name like
-- it should be this muck char length or this many '_' can be there .
my problem is if i am giving a small schema name . every thing goes fine for my applications . means all stored procedure having execute permission to other schema are working in that schema . if the schema name is bigger then some problem is coming in execute the stored proceduer from VB appication where it has the execution permission . this is giving " wrong number of calls or argument to stored procedure" . this is not happening for all stored procedure . but this is working with the db having small schema name .

please help me out .

Hi,

Send the your schema name and procedure name and in VB where you are calling.

In oracle the schema name and any other user objects name length should be <=30 charecters.

Thanks,
