Hi,

I would like to traigger a email to the users saying that your due date is nearing, come and make the payment.

I have a table called Invoice_Details, have a field name called : Due_Date.

Assume that My Due_date is 30-OCT-2006. I have to trigger a email to the user starting from Oct 1st to before due date. It should be weekly once. So I need to fire 4 emails on 1st Oct, 8th Oct, 15th Oct, 22nd October.

How can I achieve this using the PL/SQL.? If anybody done this before, can you give me a idea?

Thanks in Advance,

GOOGLE is your friend, but only if you take the time to use it.
You also could try searching this forum.

put all the logic in a stored procedure, using UTL_SMTP to send the email. use DBMS_JOB (or DBMS_SCHEDULER in v10) to run the procedure on a weekly basis.
