when i run a query, my oracle connection get closed with following error.

ORA-03113 end-of-file Communication channel

this is happening in one ENV while my query runs fine in other ENV

I have check the alert.olg file & also checked the trace file in userdump . I found the following error:
ORA-07445: exception encountered: Core dump [nsoinp()+310][SIGSEGV][Adress not mapped to object] [0XA0] [] []

That would be a "talk to support" issue.

If the query you are running involves grouping sets and a subquery predicate, then you've probably hit bug 2483794.

There is a workaround listed on metalink, but it involves setting undocumented parameters.
