Hi,

I want to automate addition of partitions (range,list) .We use lot of partitions,some of which monthly,some quarterly,half yearly etc.I want to pick data from dba_tab_partions and generate generic script to create next partitons automatically.Is it possible,if any body done it,please let me know how did you do that.We have to pick namimg convention and frequency of adding partition from data dictionary.
