I've created this javabean :
package oracle.forms.fd;

    import java.io.*;
    import java.sql.*;
    import java.lang.Long;
    import java.util.Date;
    import oracle.forms.ui.VBean;

    public class LeggiDir extends VBean
    {

      public LeggiDir()
      {
        super();
      }
    public static String getList(String directory)
       {
       String result = null;
       String element = "";
       String lettfile = "";
       File path = new File( directory );
       String[] list = path.list();
       for(int i = 0; i < list.length; i++)
         {

           File p = new File(list[ i ]);
            Date data = new java.util.Date(p.lastModified());
           System.out.println(data.toString());
           element = element + list[ i ] + ' ' + data.toString()  + '|';
         }
         return element;
        }
   }

but data.toString() is 0,while list[ i ] is equal file name.
Help me where is the error?

thanks zuzzi

I suggest posting this on a Java forum.
