Hi,

I have a query regarding closing the cursors. Do we need to explicitly close the cursor(using Close Cursor_name;)when used in plsql block as below.

declare
temp_var emp%rowtype;
CURSOR stag_emp_cur IS SELECT * from emp;
Begin
For stag_emp_cur in temp_var
loop
-----executable statements----;
end loop;
end;

No, you don't need to.
