i am looking for a graphic loader tool to loads flat files. i've found various software on the internet and downloaded the trial versions but most of them doesn't seem to work correctly and the documentation on how to guide and resolve problems is null.

does someone knows of a good utility of this type?

thank you.

One begs to ask why you need a third party tool at all? Why not just use EXTERNAL TABLES and then voila, your flat file is now visible to the database and you can have your way with it.

But the fact is, only oracle native tools like Oracle SQL*Loader/External Tables/HTMLDB are the most flexible ones.

If all your textfiles are of the same format without any any aberrations a particular tool might work. Please look into Oracle Applicatin Express. The csv file loading features are pretty cool and it is free.
