CURRENTY I AM USING ORACLE 9i.I HAVE A TABLE ONE OF THE COLUMN I WANT TO STORE IN ARABIC. ANY ONE CAN TELL ME WHAT ARE THE STEPS I HAVE TO DO.

I DID IN THE FOLLOWING STEPS:
1)I CHANGED THAT FILED DATATYPE INTO NVARCHAR2
2)I CHANGED MY O.S (WINDOWS) ARABIC ENABLED
3)THROUGH MY FROUNT END APPLICATION(JAVA) I AM ENTERING IN ARABIC BUT THIS IS NOT STORING IN ARABIC FORMAT IN DATABASE.

Hi,
Check out what is the character set of your database,it should be either UTF-8 or AL16UTF16 ,you can refer this site for further help "http://www.stanford.edu/dept/itss/docs/oracle/10g/server.101/b10749/ch6unicode.htm"
