Could anybody plz tell me what is PL/SQL table and why is it used.and difference btween sql tables and pl/sql tables.

A PL/SQL table is a memory structure used in a PL/SQL procedure. The content is volatile and valid during the PL/SQL procedure execution time only. Check out "Collections" in the PL/SQL user guide and reference.

PL/SQL Table is a collection object of Oracle and is used to store data temporarily in Table format during the execution of the Stored Procedure.
