Hi, when I try to execute the script to create a new database, I get an error for Invalid File Name, as seen on the alert.log file below. I'd appreciate any help.

Thanks,

M.D.

>> DEFAULT TABLESPACE dev_1
you are using the default clause ( and provided no name/location for the datafile).
To do this, you must set DB_CREATE_FILE_DEST (a parameter in initsid.ora) for the location of datafile for the tablespace.
Did you do that?
else
try it.
or
Make it to use the DATAFILE clause along with ( as you did for other tablespaces)
or
remove that line.
You can create individual tablespaces later.
