what is table funtions and what is the significance
of that funtions.

Not a phrase I'm familiar with.

Google on the other hand, knows everything, and tells me that 'Table Function' is a shorthand name for a function that you can use as a datasource in a query.

It will either be a Pipelined function, or will return a table type that is defined at the SQL level.
You can then use the TABLE command in your select statement to convert this into a data source.

sam i suggest you seriously to take up some SQL tutorial..its available at plenty of sites...please let others post their queries...if you have any problam with queries everyone here is glad to help you out...
