Hi,

I am executing my procedure in the following way.

EXEC SQL EXECUTE
BEGIN
<package name>.<procedure name>[ :param1, :param2 ];
END;
END-EXEC;

It is throwing a semantic error in the following way...

Semantic error at line 13286, column 11, file xxxxx.pc:
EXEC SQL EXECUTE
..........1
PCC-S-02345, SQLCHECK=SEMANTICS must be given when embedded PL/SQL blocks are us
ed

Can anyone give me some idea to get rid of this ERROR.

Thanks

Where are you executing this?
It doesn't look like anything I've ever seen.

Thanks Frank. I got rid of the semantic error. I just put options SEMANTIC and SYNTAX around the PL SQL block and it worked. But I have new error.

PLS-S-00201, identifier 'REP_PROC.TRSR_ENGINE' must be declared

I am connected to database in the main () function. Do I need to declare my package.procedure somewhere too.

Thanks

Do you have sufficient privileges on the mentioned object? Can you execute your plsql-block using sqlplus (same user as your pro-c of course)?
