Hi all,

How to get data from database to excel sheet.And how to set the property like bold,width,height for the cells of excel sheet.
please urgent.........

The problem here is that Excel is a MS proprietry format, and as such, not generally availalble to 3rd parties.

The easiest way would be to select a comma separated list of values, open that in Excel and apply formatting.

Excel does mostly support the SYLK Spreadsheet formatting convention, and AskTom has a package called OWA_SYLK for producing output in that format.

I like the MOD PL/SQL approach. Another option could have been SYLK.

You could use SQL Server's DTS functions to easily export your resultset to a native Excel file.
