Hi,
I would like to know how to load data data from excel(csv file)into oracle 9i tables for CLOB columns. I have excel file form user as they modify and I need to load back data in table which contains clob data and it has more than 4000 char and less than 4000 also. Wiach way I can load the data?

Thanks,

Thanks Frank.
I show this article but how can I load if I have csv file which is contains whole file with all the fields like....
Fileds are as below...
id, job_id, category, job_desc, job_req

And data is like
id1, job1, cat1, whole job desc (it might more than 4000 too),whole job req ((it might more than 4000 char too)
And this is all in a MS off excel work format).
It's not like you have specified in your link that for each job req and desc - seperate file.

Appreciated your help.

From the article, I have almost 1000 records and then each job_desc, job_req I have to make a file means I have to make almost 1000 files for each job_desc, job_req like....
But it's not cumbersome to make each file for both clob fields?

LOAD DATA
INFILE *
INTO TABLE table1
FIELDS TERMINATED BY ','
(id CHAR(20),
job_id CHAR(20),
category CHAR(40),
job_desc CHAR(100),
job_req CHAR(100)
)
BEGINDATA
id1, job1, cat1, job_desc1.txt, job_req1.txt
id2, job2, cat2, job_desc2.txt, job_req2.txt
...
id1000, job1000, cat1000, job_desc1000.txt, job_req1000.txt
