I have 3 separate databases. a- Oracle 9i b- Oracle 9i and c- Oracle 10g. Can I use DataPump from an Oracle 10G to export from one Oracle 9i and import to the other Oracle 9i database. Razz

No. See Metalink note:132904.1 (Compatibility Matrix for Export & Import Between Different Oracle Versions)

The metalink note only talks about compatability between the source and target system for the the import/export. In my example the source and target are at the same level of Oracle 9i.

I am looking only for the Oracle 10G instance to perform the DataPump remotely; connecting by a database link to the source for the expdp and then connecting remotely with another database link to the target for the impdp.
