I want to change the hostname for my Oracle Infrastructure Instance I have a full installation on Oracle Application server on one host with a static ip. the version of my application server is 9.0.4 ...please advise

Best to search on Metalink to see if it's safe to do. I think it is. You should find some other hits on this site on the topic.

I think you want to change ur MT from one Infrastructure to other? Am I right?

No Sir,
I willing to change the host of the infrastructure and move it to another server(box) then register the original middle tier with the new ip and hostname of infrastructure.
Another scenario would solve my problem is to change the hostname of the same infra server
eg. the hostname of my infra now is mc06
I want to change it to mc01

According to my experience you must need new installation for all..
