Dear all,

I have Oracle 9i Enterprise Edition is installed. I have four filetype in linux .

Filesystem Size Used Available Use% Mounted on
/dev/hda3 3.0G 1.6G 1.2G 58% /
/dev/hda1 99M 9.2M 84M 10% /boot
/dev/hda2 6.7G 6.3G 175M 98% /oracle
/dev/hda7 6.7G 5.1G 1.3G 79% /oradata
none 125M 0 124M 0% /dev/shm
/dev/hda6 228M 4.2M 211M 2% /tmp

In the oracle file system the space used is already 98% and When I take database backup it reached to 100%
and after that Oracle stops working.

Please suggest me what is the best solution.

Regards,
Ashutosh Trivedi
