Hi Everyone,

We are Working on a Server with Oracle 8i Database which connects to an application.

Few days back The MaxExtents of a table reached the Maximum(200) so the work was holded up so i have Updated the size and increased the MaxExtents to 300

Then it worked for the next two days including the Restarted day of the server,after that the server is disconnecting the Dispatcher Services every two days and when i try restarting the service it doesnt works so i have to restart the Complete server and the work is scheduled for 24X7 basics so it is holding up the work even on a Holidays so is there any suggestions or Idea regarding this will help me a Lot

I will also post some of the Log files for your reference
Note: Pls rename the file as .zip

Error extracted from your log files:

TNS-12500: TNS:listener failed to start a dedicated server process
 TNS-12537: TNS:connection closed
  TNS-12560: TNS:protocol adapter error
   TNS-00507: Connection closed
    32-bit Windows Error: 109: Unknown error

Hi Frank,

So do you have any idea regarding this error any Suggestions or Ideas realated to it.

As i have clearly explained that the Application cant able to access the Database exactly after two days

So when we restart the Server and then the Services the System starts to work fine

hi prem
i tried to open the log file u hav sent but its not opening ok ..first of all just let me know how many database are there in your server ? i belive more than one right ?
send ur log file to my emailid ok

Hi Dinu,

Download the file to your computer rename the file to .zip

so that u can able to view it

Any how i will also send the attachment to ur mail

Thanks Guys for all your help to rectify the Error occured.

Finally i found the thing which is causing the problem it is just a virus so when i cleared it the Server started to work perfectly so no problems any more
