What is the main difference between the data collected by
sqltrace and dbms_profiler package.

i know that if we make sql_trace=true than trace file will be generated and if we start profiling the session using dbms_profiler.start_profiler than data will be gathered into tables.

i want to know that is there any difference between information gathered by both utilities

Thanks in advance
