Apps 11i on RedHat 4 [message #185682]

Hi,
I have downloaded apps 11i(11.5.10.2) for linux x86 from edelivery.i would like to know if there is any pre and/or post install patches am supposed to install for apps.
Also since i have these files on my hard drive do i have to burn them on a CD so that i can create the staging directory.or how else can i create the staging directory.
My system has:

CPU :intel P4 3.0GHz HT
RAM :2.0Gb dual channel mode
Hard Drive:300Gb
Operating System: Redhat Linux AS 4.0

P.S: I have no access to metalink so i cant get some of these info

Although the report mechanism is not meant to get attention for your post/thread I'll let this one slide.

When it comes to patches, Oracle has made them online available through Metalink. This is not a free site however, as it is Oracle's official support site.

For Financial there is only one Patch set required the is "IN60107 – Cumulative Patchset".But for download this Patchset u need raise 'TAR'.

****** The main thing is only these patch's are for only India.
if u don't have metalink accessing . sorry we con't help.coz only authorized person can access the Metalink.
That why atleast iam providing some data,which possbile at my end.

And More over about u r system configuration. i guess its not suficient about "Hard disk " capaticy 300GB., Better upgrade it upto 400GB.(i.e. better increase it 100 GB).
